Luke Wants Someone To Adopt Him

Dog Lover - Friday, March 02, 2012

Luke is a small adult male poodle/cockapoo mix who is currently in foster care with a Grateful Dogs Rescue volunteer but is looking for his forever home.

Luke is so cute! He is a sweet and affectionate little guy with a lot of love to share. He is about about severn years old and is most likely a poodle mix, weighing about twenty pounds. Luke has a lot of energy and loves going to the dog park everyday to chase balls and to run, run, run!

When at home, he will cuddle up right next to you when he feels safe, but he needs to get to know you first, which may take a little bit of time. Little Luke gets anxious when left alone (he can be destructive and crating isn't an option), so he really needs a special someone who can devote some time and effort to help him feel safe and loved. It will be worth it as he is truly a wonderful dog who will give you so much love in return. A guardian who is home often or someone who can take him along, a dog walker/trainer, would be ideal.

He is very good on leash and is a super intelligent little dog. Luke loves other dogs; in fact a home with another small dog would be imperative as it makes him very happy to have a doggie friend and helps with his anxiety. In his foster home he lives with a small terrier and they play together all day! A home without children is required.
