Mocha was rescued from the San Francisco Animal Care and Control shelter and is in foster care with a Grateful Dogs Rescue volunteer. She will be posted on the Grateful Dogs Rescue PetFinder site soon.
There has been lots of discussion about her breed. Here is one comment from a Grateful Dogs Rescue volunteer.
"I have seen enough known Sharpei crosses to say there is for sure Sharpei in there – you can tell by some key characteristics in conformation, coat texture and pigment that seem to dominate when you cross them. But what the rest is, who knows? As much as I am not into Sharpei, mixes thereof often come out really neat and exotic looking and I tend to really like them :-) Beautiful!"
