Grateful Dogs Rescue is looking for a San Francisco Bay area foster home for this active dog. Milton is a high-energy beige chihuahua, who weighs around eight or nine pounds. A vet tech told the Grateful Dogs Rescue evaluator that Milton growls at her when she goes by his kennel, but he seemed very friendly with the evaluator when she went in to leash him up. He has high excited energy. Milton greeted everyone he encountered with exuberant enthusiasm; climbed in the GDR volunteer's lap for a snuggle and some affection. He wanted to be near the GDR evaluator and other people.

Milton is very active; a bit tentative with unfamiliar objects like the fire hydrant, doesn't seem dog-reactive – perhaps playing with other dogs could siphon off some excess energy.
