Sports Basement is one of San Francisco's unique retail stores and experiences. At Sports Basement, most people are inside the store so they can get outside the store – out on the trails, in the Bay and on the roads. And the only way enjoying the outdoors can be better, it to enjoy it with a dog.

About Grateful Dogs Rescue
Grateful Dogs Rescue is the oldest all-breed rescue group in San Francisco. For more than two decades our mission has been to save the lives of dogs at San Francisco Animal Care and Control that are at risk of euthanasia. We save as many of these dogs as possible, place them in experienced foster homes, and provide veterinary care and training as needed until loving adopters can be found. http://gratefuldogsrescue.org
About Sports Basement
Sports Basement is a sporting-goods retailer with four locations in the San Francisco Bay Area that takes pride in selling the best brands at basement prices. But if you’ve ever been to the Basement, you probably know that that description doesn’t really do Sports Basement justice. Walk into one of their stores and you know immediately that this will be a different shopping experience. You may not be able to pinpoint why, but you’ll probably sense it.
They have great prices, but everything is top quality. The stores are huge, but they feel and act like small shops. They make all of of their own signs, racks, fixtures and displays by hand in our wood and metal shops. Sports Basement is a community center, a hangout, a hub. The stores are like a second home to local athletes and groups who use our space daily for club meetings, to host potlucks, to start a workout from our front doors, or to pick up some tips at a speaker series event. http://www.sportsbasement.com
